Deals for Week of 4/25-5/1

I'm somewhat of a broken-record, but I'm not very excited about the deals this week.  If you have the $2/1 All detergent coupon, that is an excellent price for laundry detergent, but I am unsure that this coupon was in our area papers.  

Please be gentle with me; I'm still new here!  I'd love to know what you think.  I may be revising this post or adding more items as the week goes on.

OTHER

Old El Paso Products - I wasn't sure where to put this as it covers a few different categories.  There is a Catalina deal running at Coborn's for Old El Paso products from 4/19-5/16.  There are a few products advertised in the weekly flyer, so you may be able to put together some decent deals.  I think the taco seasoning packets are 4/$3 or 75 cents each.  Unfortunately, I don't think there are currently any coupons available for these products.


Here's the scoop on the Catalina promotion:



Purchase any Old El Paso taco shells, dinner kits, seasoning, refried beans or heat and serve side dishes and receive a coupon on your next purchase of beef or chicken.

• Buy 3 products, get a $1.00 off coupon
• Buy 6 products get a $3.00 off coupon

If you bought 6 taco season packets @ 75¢ each, you would be spending $4.50 and get a $3.00 off beef/chicken coupon for your next order.  This works out to be 25¢ per packet of taco seasoning when factoring in the coupon that you will get for meat you'd (probably) be purchasing anyway.  Let me know if you find any manufacturer's coupons out there to make this deal sweeter!
